ABOUT US
The Ahmadiyya Gazette Canada is the official monthly magazine of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada and one of the longest-running religious periodicals in the country.
First launched in June 1972 as The Ahmadiyya News Bulletin and briefly published as The Muslim Outlook, it soon adopted the name Ahmadiyya Gazette Canada and has remained in continuous publication for more than five decades.
Published from Toronto in English and Urdu, the Gazette serves as a trusted source of religious, moral, and educational guidance for readers in Canada and beyond. Throughout its history, it has played a central role in informing, educating, and spiritually nurturing members of the Canadian Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, while presenting the teachings of Islam in a clear, balanced, and dignified manner.
The pages of the Ahmadiyya Gazette Canada feature extracts from the Holy Qur’an, the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the writings of the Holy Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, the Promised Messiah and Mahdi (peace be upon him). Each issue also includes guidance from Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah be his Helper), articles on faith and spirituality, reflections on contemporary issues, reports on Canadian and international Jama’at activities, and content for families and youth.
In addition to its religious and educational mandate, the Gazette encourages the pursuit of knowledge, fosters thoughtful and respectful interfaith dialogue, and highlights the Jama’at’s efforts in service, outreach, and nation-building across Canada.
